It's worth the hype. I got the two choice without noodles-dumplings and wontons. Surprisingly, the dumplings may have been even more delicious than the wontons. The chili oil and red vinegar were good accompaniments. I paid extra for steamed gailan. My friend got the wonton mee with beef stew and liked it too. Not the cheapest by flushing standards, but well worth it. Be warned that during the weekend you might actually have to wait.

I've just sat in and i can already say I 100% will recommend this to anyone, I was actually helped with the menu and was asked about allergies and things i do not eat. It's also comforting and very cozy, Its not like a starbucks but i can definitely say that that it has character and you can see the hard work everyone has put into this place

On a rainy day in Flushing, we were craving something warm, so we decided to check out Maxi's for some noodle soup. The place is super small, and we had to wait about 15 minutes to get seated. We started with crispy fish skin and curry fish balls as appetizers, followed by shrimp wonton and egg noodles. The shrimp wonton was definitely the highlight for me--filled with shrimp and crunchy, the wonton was chewy with a thin skin that melted in your mouth. So delicious! The curry fish balls were also tasty, with a nice spicy kick. Their chili oil is incredibly spicy and smells amazing, really elevating the flavors. The only thing we didn't care for was the fish skin--it was a bit bland for our liking. But we'll definitely be coming back for more of those amazing shrimp wontons! We were so hungry so we didn't take any photos for the food

Stopped by to try their wonton noodle soup for lunch before catching a movie at Tangram. Upon entry, complimentary water or tea was offered. I got the wontons and beef stew with egg noodles. Definitely get the beef stew! I love how it adds a slight richness to the soup. I think these are the biggest wontons I've ever seen as they were absolutely stuffed with shrimp meat. Two toppings was more than enough food for me. Turnover for seats was pretty fast as most people leave after they finish eating. There's both outdoor and indoor seating. I'd like to try to their fishballs next time I'm in the mood for wonton noodle soup!

The noodles and wonton for this place was exceptional. Didn't expect it to be so good compared to a lot of different places, it far exceeds a lot of places, I don't think there is a match, at least I haven't found one. That day we went, the place already packed, but luckily there was no line. So we were able to get seating right away. We sat in the outside sun patio deck, so it was nothing much but it was cool with the fan offered from the server. The only thing I didn't like was the pricing, it is definitely New York prices, I believe it was $1.50 for one extra wonton at the time.. although good, it's a bit steep, hopefully some kind of Wonton Monday's happen so that it is $0.75 or something, hahah.

Centrally located in flushing and near parking. This place is great! It's a small shop with seating inside and outside. The menu has great options. We started with the curry balls and I got a lemonade. The curry balls had great texture and lots of flavor. The lemonade was perfectly sweet and tart! I got the lo mein with two toppings. The wontons and dumplings are amazing- you can taste the authenticity in them. My dish had oyster sauce, veggies underneath and came with a side soup. All around a great meal. I loved that I could purchase frozen wontons to bring home! The service is fast and friendly. I can't wait to come back!

FIVE stars through and through. Delicious, large wontons & dumplings and noodles (I got ho fun). And you can add unlimited chili sauce. I am from Hong Kong and I can say the food here is authentic!! Very affordable prices. Service: quick & efficient. They come to you promptly and bring your food out within 5-10minutes of you ordering. People who say the service sucks here...this is a local shop with local culture that does things succintly and efficiently. They are blunt & to the point; dont take things so personally. That's how they get things done. This is local culture. Don't be that annoying tourist with complaints (life tip when you travel) Credit card: Yah things are pricier with CC (3%higher) which is NOT bad at all given their already low prices for NYC. Stop complaining. I'm too lazy to draw cash as I never use cash so I am happy with offer this option now.

Such bouncy and flavorful shrimp wontons! We got their one topping option wonton noodles - one with egg noodles and the other with flat rice noodles. The flat rice noodles were super soft and a great option while the egg noodles are a bit more classic for a typical wonton soup. Limited seating but very fast service and yummy food. Do not sleep on their chili oil it is delicious (you can also buy a jar to take home). They do accept credit card payment. Come here for an affordable and quick meal

I made a mistake thinking Maxi's Noodle 2 was in the same vicinity as this location so we just went here. Anyway, our last time here was during pandemic time - I remember only outdoor seating or take out orders. This time, saw that they had enclosed outdoor seating but was warm there, so we chose indoors with a few tables. There was even a sign which said be ready to share tables with other customers. Before our order was taken, we were asked about food allergies. We wanted the dumplings again, which we loved then, so we got them in a soup and on lomein. They're goood; elongated pieces, with shrimp, pork, mushrooms. The wontons are shrimp-filled. Had to edit: learned from the owner that dumplings and wontons can be ordered a la carte. Great! There are other toppings like dace fish ball, ja jiang (which I wasn't into) etc. The soup broth was tasty. The beef stew ($2 more) added richness; the beef pieces were very tender and flavorful. The egg noodle in the lomein was dry though, plain, not sauteed at all, only with the oyster sauce on one side. Needed some veggies in the lomein, aside from the wilted lettuce. Other noodle choices available too. Menu shows credit card prices vs. cash prices. No restroom.
